Excellence 14mm Engineered Wood Flooring

Excellence 14mm engineered flooring is the top of our two 14mm ranges, sitting above Elegance for finish and colour choice. And every board still gives you a real oak top layer over a multi-ply core. That's the strength and stability you get with engineered wood.

Boards are 189mm wide and a fixed 1860mm long, wider and longer than most laminate or vinyl click. So that gives you fewer joins across a room, for a cleaner look underfoot.

Excellence 14mm engineered flooring comes in seven colours, all in ABCD grade European oak. That just means a natural mix of grain and character, not one uniform look board to board. And six come brushed and UV oiled. One, Oak Rustic in a lacquered finish, is a tougher, easy-clean surface with a different look and feel instead.

The 3mm oak layer is thick enough to sand and re-oil down the line. That's true on any board that doesn't have a lacquered finish. You can sand lacquered boards, but only as a full room job, not a quick spot fix. Check which finish you're buying if that matters to you.
